東京都出身。学生の頃からバンド活動を始め、高校卒業後、本格的に音楽活動をスタート。
様々な施設での演奏経験を経て、歌う事で人と繋がる喜びを感じ、自身の音楽活動の原点となる。
22歳で単身ニューヨークへ。現地で音楽、英語を学び、ゴスペルと出会う。ゴスペルの持つ声や歌の力に圧倒され、ゴスペルクワイヤとして教会、国連でのイベント、パレード等に出演。帰国後はライブ活動とともにボイストレーナーとして指導を開始。留学経験を活かし、英語の歌や英語での指導にもあたる。
現在は１児の母となり、乳幼児対象のリトミックなど活動の場を広げる。

Born in Tokyo. Started band activities as a student and pursued music seriously after graduating high school. Through performances at various venues, discovered the joy of connecting with people through singing, which became the foundation of a music career. At 22, moved to New York alone to study music and English, where discovered gospel music. Deeply moved by the power of gospel vocals and songs, performed as part of a gospel choir at churches, United Nations events, and parades. After returning to Japan, began performing live while also working as a vocal coach. Leveraging study abroad experience, teaches English songs and offers lessons in English. Now a mother of one, expanding activities to include early childhood music education, such as rhythmics for infants and toddlers. Specializes in J-pop, kayokyoku, enka, and Western music. Welcomes students of all nationalities and offers lessons in English!
Note: Instructor Ikegaya's lessons are available on Fridays during daytime hours.
